Heavy rain forced officials to red-flag the Formula 3 feature race at Spa-Francorchamps on Sunday, cutting the event short after just four laps.
The session began behind the safety car as downpours soaked the Ardennes circuit, but conditions quickly deteriorated. Multiple crashes unfolded, including a pile-up at La Source involving Rodger Corser and a spin by rookie Lena Müller that collected two others.
Race control halted proceedings for safety reasons, and with no restart possible due to persistent weather, points were handed out based on the order when the red flag flew.
Prema’s Gabriele Mini took the win from pole, holding off Hitech’s Luke Browning in second. ART’s Jake Dunne rounded out the podium in third, boosting his championship hopes.
The disruption adds to a chaotic weekend at the Belgian venue, where F3 teams now turn focus to the next round amid forecasts of clearer skies.
