SHORT LAP. NO TIME TO HIDE.
RED BULL RINGRed Bull Ring
A handful of corners, plenty of elevation and hardly a moment to regroup. Spielberg fits a lot of racing into very little time.
THE RACE WEEKENDThe lap, in numbers.

Where the lap is won. And lost.
THE CLIMB
Make the power work.
The first part of the lap links straights with uphill right-handers. Braking and traction do much of the work.
THE DESCENT
Change the rhythm.
The road drops away and the corners come faster. The lap stops being a sequence of straight-line runs.
RINDT & THE FINISH
Stay accurate.
The quick final corners demand a clean line. There is little lap left in which to recover an error.
