ONE CORNER KEEPS ON GOING.
SHANGHAIShanghai International Circuit
Shanghai makes you wait for the exit, then asks you to brake all over again. Getting impatient is rarely the quick way round.

Where the lap is won. And lost.
TURNS 1–4
Patience first.
The opening right-hander keeps tightening before the lap switches left. Commit too early and the exit gets away from you.
TURNS 7–8
Trust the balance.
The fast direction change is a proper test of the car. Watch which drivers can keep the sequence tidy.
TURNS 13–14
Finish the run.
The long back straight ends at the hairpin. The exit before it matters just as much as the braking afterwards.

GETTING IN
Start with your gate.
Check the gate and transport instructions attached to your ticket before setting off. The nearest entrance on a map may not be the entrance for your grandstand.
Allow time for the walk and security checks. Confirm current access, permitted items and accessibility arrangements with the organiser.
EVENT & ACCESS INFORMATIONCHOOSING A VIEW
Different seats. Different race.
Grandstand K overlooks the Turn 14–15 area. Turn 6 offers another place to watch the braking battles.
Check the current seating plan and the view from your exact block. Ticket categories and sightlines can change between events.
F1’S CIRCUIT & VIEWING GUIDEWhat should I check before travelling?
Your ticket gate, current transport arrangements, entry rules and weather forecast. Confirm accessibility and permitted items with the organiser.
Is the lap record the fastest lap ever driven here?
No. A race lap record is set during a Grand Prix. Qualifying laps happen under different conditions and are a separate benchmark.
