The real reason behind Newey’s secret trip to Italy

The enigma surrounding Adrian Newey’s recent excursion to Italy has finally been clarified.

Speculation was rife as the esteemed Formula 1 designer was spotted at Bologna airport, a mere hour’s drive from Maranello, sparking rumours of a potential involvement with Ferrari amid internal disputes at Red Bull.

However, Formula Passion from Italy has put those rumours to rest. The publication disclosed that Newey was actually indulging in a “day on the track at Mugello.”

Although Mugello is under Ferrari’s ownership, Newey visited the track wearing Red Bull Racing attire for a special track day with KR Motorsports. During this event, he had the opportunity to drive a variety of high-performance and GT vehicles.
