Lewis Hamilton has opened up about the documents he’s been sharing with Ferrari’s leadership, stressing they’re packed with his insights on team operations and car development—but without any demands attached.

Speaking ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix, the seven-time world champion explained that these notes stem from his fresh perspective after joining the Scuderia from Mercedes at the start of 2025. “I’ve put together some thoughts on what I see as key areas for us to improve,” Hamilton said. “It’s about highlighting strengths and weaknesses in our setup, from how we handle the SF-25’s issues to ideas for the 2026 regulations. But these aren’t instructions; they’re just my views to spark discussion.”

Hamilton, now teamed with Charles Leclerc at Ferrari, made clear he’s not pushing for immediate overhauls. Instead, he wants to contribute to a collaborative push that could help the team challenge Red Bull and McLaren more consistently. “Ferrari has a rich history, and I’m here to add to it without stepping on toes,” he added. “We’ve got upgrades coming, like the ones tested at Spa, and I’m optimistic about what we can achieve together.”

Team principal Fred Vasseur welcomed the input, noting it aligns with ongoing efforts to refine their package. Leclerc echoed this, saying the focus remains on collective progress rather than internal rivalry. With Hamilton sitting 30 points behind Leclerc in the standings after a mixed start to his Ferrari tenure, both drivers are eyeing stronger results in the second half of the season.
